BAMS A Career Option

        Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery.            BAMS   can be pursued after  12th  and scoring good marks in  NEET.   It is a course of 4 and half years in India plus 1 year of I nternship. It is an undergraduate degree which helps the students  to be familiar with the concepts of ancient medicine and ayurveda.  BAMS incorporates Ayurveda with the concepts of modern medicines and students are taught a combination of both as part of the course curriculum. A medical degree in Bachelors in Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery. Permission to practice modern medicine BAMS graduates have been permitted to practice modern medicine in the state of Maharashtra and in the state of Karnataka , BAMS doctors appointed in primary health centres in rural areas can practice modern-medicine in case of "emergencies".

Requirements For Admission In BAMS

Criteria For Admission In BAMS Pursue higher secondary education till 12th std. from any college or university in India. He/She should score a minimum of 50-60% marks combined in Physics, Chemistry and Biology in the 12th grade according to the rules of the University. They should appear for NATIONAL ELIGIBILITY ENTRANCE TEST(NEET) taken    by NTA of India. They should qualify the entrance test by good marks to get admission in the best colleges of BAMS in India.
